I drew this while (unsuccessfully) trying to buy Davis Cup Semi Final tickets for Glasgow on the TicketFactory website.  The Mission Impossible/Bomb countdown would be quite exciting if it wasn't for the fact that when you fail you loose whatever tickets you had reserved and have to go back and compete for worse ones.

Siri Says

Was trying Siri on the iPad last night and thinking about how much trust we play in omniscient digital assistants.  Soon children (and parents) will consider Siri/Cortana/Google such an authority that it will be a factor in family decisions or so Siri reckons.  Anyway have to go Siri's reminding me of something she needs me to do...

Google Alphabet

Today Google announced a surprise restructure with a new company Alphabet a holding company that will own subsidiaries including Google, Nest, Fiber and others.  Aside from the financial/business concerns you have to worry about Google taking over the word Alphabet given the way it used as a global repository of knowledge.
